CLEANING/WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Use a vacuum cleaner for routine cleaning of your shaggy rug (a broom is not recommended);
- To wash, wet the surface of the rug and use diluted neutral liquid detergent;
- Do not soak the rug. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue and avoid hanging the rug over a clothesline to prevent creasing;
- To remove excess water, leave the rug flat and gently run a squeegee over the top;
- To dry, look for a shaded spot where you can leave it stretched flat on smooth surfaces so it won’t crease (avoid the clothesline for this reason).
- Do not leave the rug exposed to sunlight, as the base contains latex dots that prevent the rug from slipping. These dots can degrade if exposed to the sun.
- Can I wash it in a washing machine? Yes, but we recommend hand washing.
