CLEANING/WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Use a vacuum cleaner for routine cleaning of your shaggy rug (a broom is not recommended);
- For washing, wet the surface of the rug and use diluted neutral liquid detergent;
- Do not soak the rug. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and avoid hanging on a clothesline to prevent creasing;
- To remove excess water, lay the rug flat and gently run a squeegee over it;
- To dry, choose a shaded area where you can lay it flat on smooth surfaces that won't leave marks (unlike a clothesline).
- Do not leave the rug exposed to the sun, as the base contains latex dots to prevent slipping; these can degrade if exposed to sunlight.
- Can I machine wash it? Yes, but we recommend hand washing.
