CLEANING/WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Use a vacuum cleaner for routine cleaning of your shaggy rug (broom is not recommended);
- To wash, wet the surface of the rug and use diluted neutral liquid detergent;
- Do not soak the rug. Rinse thoroughly to remove any traces of soap and avoid hanging the rug on a clothesline to prevent creases;
- To remove excess water, leave it stretched out and gently run a squeegee over the surface;
- For drying, choose a shaded location where you can lay it flat on a smooth surface that won’t leave marks (unlike a clothesline);
- Do not leave the rug exposed to the sun, as its base contains latex dots that keep the rug from sliding. These dots may degrade if exposed to the sun.
- Can it be machine washed? Yes, but we recommend hand washing.
